Here is a recipe for my favourite breakfast, Cacao Porridge. I eat this most days as its simple to make and full of goodness. It always fills me up ready for the day ahead! What more could you want from your breakfast!?
Ingredients for Cacao Porridge;
1 cup organic coconut and rice milk
1/2 Cup porridge oats
1 tbsp cacao powder
1/2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 Handful of blueberries
Optional extra fruit- bananas, strawberries, apples or raspberries work best!
Heat the milk and oats in a pan until the mixture boils. Then lower the heat and leave it to simmer for around 5 minutes allowing the mixture to thicken. Once complete take off the heat and stir in the cacao powder and sugar. Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the fruit and you are done!
